Job Description
Overview: The Tinter is responsible for applying the correct colors into the molds using tools such as brushes and paint sprayers.
Schedule: 7:00AM 5:30AM Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Ability to memorize color formulas and color patterns
- Will need to assists more than one line if needed
- Ability to spray the paint on the molds
- Ability to brush molds accurately and consistently
- Be able to work at a fast pace.
- Able to stand the duration of your shift
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work in a nontemperaturecontrolled manufacturing environment
Safety:
- Safe work performance is required from each associate at all times
- Perform all duties and responsibilities safely in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals
- Required to wear or use personal protective equipment as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions
- Comply with all legislative requirements as outlined by Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required
Working Conditions:
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounter while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations
- While performing the duties of the job the associate is regularly required to stand
- The associate is required to walk: reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; turning or twisting; pushing; and talk or hear
- While performing the duties of this job the average plant temperature conditions range from 60 in the cooler months and upto 110 during the warmer months
- All workstations on the plant floor require the use of protective eyewear and hearing protection; some workstations require additional safety equipment to include but not limited togloves aprons and arm guards
Qualifications :
Education
- High Diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 18 years of age
Experience
Minimum of 6 months in a Manufacturing Environment
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Manual dexterity and good hand eye coordination
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- Ability to lift and move 40 50lbs frequently
- Ability to remain in a fixed position for extended periods 8 hours per shift) while operating painting equipment
