This is a fantastic opportunity for a veterinarian eager to tackle more complex cases or an emergency veterinarian seeking a more predictable schedule and manageable workload.
In this role youll make a meaningful difference in the lives of your patients clients and colleagues!
From delivering reliable walkin outpatient care for pets with nonlifethreatening conditions that still need to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling urgent and emergency cases demonstrating exceptional medical and diagnostic skills and displaying a strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

Experience & Skills Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired prior to their start date.
- Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

About Our Hospital
Thrive Mesquite is an urgent care practice located in Mesquite Texas focusing on:
- Minor emergencies that are not lifethreatening such as lacerations limping/painful pets hypersensitivity reactions vomiting and/or diarrhea without significant dehydration ear infections causing discomfort urinary tract infections nonobstructed FLUTD/FUS patients etc.
- Cases that are referred to by general practice veterinarians because they are unable to see them in a timely manner and fit within the scope of care we provide.
Our hospital has a collaborative team and a petloving community. We pride ourselves on integrity trust safety inclusion and compassion. Teamwork and team education are all equally important.
The Urgent Care department has been designed to meet a key need in our community and hospital. We aim to provide efficient compassionate care to patients with noncritical conditions so that they receive great care without the wait! In the Urgent Care department we offerwalkinsand appointments for varies conditions.We stay in close contact with the primary veterinarians to ensure those patients return for ongoing care with their family vet.
We are openMonday Sunday 12:00pm 10:00pm
