DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will evaluate and analyze Water Obstruction and Encroachment and NPDES/Erosion & Sediment Control permit applications to ensure they are complete technically sound and compliant with program standards verifying that all required modules and data are present. Furthermore you will offer technical assistance concerning water obstructions encroachments wetland protection erosion control and stormwater management which includes supporting permit reviews performing calculations and providing guidance on applicable regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to 3 days per week. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $67678 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Two years of professional experience in environmental engineering and possession of a valid EngineerinTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists;or
- One year of professional experience in environmental engineering and possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
- Successful completion of the training program for Environmental Engineering Trainee (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- One year of professional experience in environmental engineering and a bachelors degree in environmental engineering or in any engineering field that includes or is supplemented by 9 credits in environmental engineering.
- Graduate study in environmental engineering or in a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience on a yearforyear basis.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requirespossession of a valid drivers license.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
