Job Description
Our clientaleader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for a BusinessIntelligence Analyst(Hybrid) based out of Indianapolis IN.
Duration: Long TermContract(Potential for conversion to fulltime)
Pay Rate: $38/hr $48/hrDOE
Within the strategiccustomer support team we manage a very large and complex portfolio of productscrossing disciplines such as logistics transportation warehousing ordermanagement planning and more. As BI Analyst you will be responsible forgenerating insights for the Strategic Customer Support Team with a specialfocus on US Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for thedesign and development of automated systems to track analyze maintain andmonitor complex business data.
- Analyzes businessoperations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions.Gathers compiles and synthesizes information with regard to technologyprocesses or systems. Develops design and functional specifications producesdeliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists inpostimplementation support and system enhancements. Possess expertise in thebusiness unit(s) supported and assists in business process redesign.
- Analyzes data capturedto assess program effectiveness and develops predictive models to identifybusiness development opportunities. Provides recommendations to management onfindings and to ensure data and goals are in adherence with standard proceduresand policies.
- Provides ad hocreporting and analysis that involve large scale and complex functions asrequested.
Specialized knowledge of specific work processes or areas.
Qualifications:
- 5 years ofbusiness/systems analysis/analytical experience
- Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or other related field
- Advanced MS Excel MS Access relational database SQL and PC skills
- Ability to build develop and implement appropriate technical solutions toaddress business needs
- Comprehensive experience analyzing and solving business situations
- Experience presenting information to diverse audiences including seniorleadership
- Experience with Supply Chain/Logistics operations including material handlingwarehouse operations order management demand planning etc.
- Proficiency with ETL and data visualization softwares such as AlteryxPowerBI Tableau Prep etc.
- Proficiency in SAP applications
- Experience with Snowflake
