Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a topperforming school in Cambridgeshire. This role will involve teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with the potential to teach KS5. The school is committed to fostering creativity critical thinking and problemsolving skills and the Design & Technology department plays a key role in this mission. Students have access to a variety of tools resources and digital platforms to help bring their ideas to life whether in product design engineering or textiles.

As a Design & Technology Teacher you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to apply their knowledge and skills in practical projects. You will also have the opportunity to run extracurricular activities such as design challenges and collaborate with other departments on crosscurricular initiatives. The school offers a supportive environment for both students and staff and there are ample opportunities for professional development.

Requirements:

  • QTS and a recognised teaching qualification
