Job Description
Targeting Officer:
Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination and be willing to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Targeting Officers are responsible for guiding and monitoring the of collection operations and integrating that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. That narrative incorporating highly complex and specialized multiINT information must be communicated regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders in written form and verbally in both formal and adhoc briefings. Throughout this process Targeting Officers must be able to identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps.
Key skills for success include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment often under stress. Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately clearly and in the proper context of a larger effort. Candidates should be comfortable and familiar with drafting and disseminating written RFIs. The ability to confidently and clearly deliver concise briefings is a key skill for Targeting Officers.
Education and Experience: Targeting Officers have a Bachelors degree and at least 24 years of fulltime professional experience. Candidates with a Masters degree are highly sought. Previous intelligence experience is preferred but not required.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57850.00 $104575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
