Position Description:

Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Maintain clear behavioral expectations to ensure a safe and productive classroom.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth.
Collaborate with classroom teachers specialists and families to support student success.
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with school and state standards.
Provide targeted instruction in smallgroup or oneonone settings to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements

A valid Illinois Teaching K12 Certification is required along with a Bachelor s Degree in Special Education or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting children with diverse disabilities and a demonstrated history of success as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar role.
