Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join a growing team we are looking for General Practice Vet Nurses who are enthusiastic about providing nursing support and contributing to a collaborative environment!
Our GP team have access to an extensive range of resources and equipment you will join a growing team of dedicated veterinarians nurses animal attendants and client relations professionals who work hard to foster a positive cohesive environment making it both rewarding and enjoyable to handle typical and complex cases while providing exceptional care.

We are looking for vet nurses passionate about their career someone who is proudly professional maintains clinical standards drives improvement believes in fear free/stress free handling and making sure that every animal and client gets the best possible standard of care!
Key responsibilities:
- Undertaking general nursing tasks including pre and postoperative care animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborating with the vet team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties and customer service
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and expertise:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum 3 years clinical experience
- Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A calm and friendly presence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
