The position of North America (NA) Senior Graphic Designer will focus on graphic and information design for priority pursuits and proposals as well as various prepositioning and business development efforts. This role demands a comprehensive grasp of the proposal graphics process within engineering firms along with creativity effective collaboration skills and advanced proficiency in technical software to execute design concepts quickly and efficiently. This position demands the ability to collaborate seamlessly and effectively with diverse teams including proposal managers capture managers and technical staff on identified pursuits. This includes preparing formal and informal client solicitations such as requests for qualifications (RFQ) requests for proposals (RFP) presolicitation efforts and interviews.

Creative Responsibilities
- Impactful Deliverables: Create effective documents and presentations with a strong understanding of proposal and presentation psychology to clearly convey messages themes and evaluation criteria
- Compelling Infographics: Develop compelling informative graphics that convey complex information including infographics figures charts maps and diagrams that support messaging and themes
- Innovative Presentations: Develop custom presentations with animation sound video or other components collaborating with proposal teams
- Meticulous Templates: Develop customized templates for pursuits and presentations ensuring they are built properly using the programs best practices and demonstrating technical expertise for full usability
- Concept Development: Communicate and articulate design briefs and creative options to stakeholders
- BrandAligned Designs: Create designs that adhere to established brand standards ensuring consistency and alignment with the companys visual identity and guidelines
- Professional Photo Editing: Adherence to best practices in photo editing and color correction with a focus on headshot retouching and project photography enhancement
- Creative Feedback: Demonstrates the ability to share and receive creative feedback with professionalism and incorporate edits efficiently and accurately
- Vendor Requirements: Develop graphics that meet specified vendor requirements including graphics for exhibits boards or promotional items
- Document Finalization: Oversee and support the finalization of documents for production packaging and shipping as needed
- Custom Packaging: Design customized covers and tabs coordinating with vendors and production staff
Professional Responsibilities
- Graphics Management: Lead and develop the proposal and interview schedule for graphics maintain and provide updates to the proposal team and attend shortnotice status meetings as needed
- Workload Management: Initiative skill and personal commitment to manage multiple projects and details concurrently follow up and bring tasks and projects to full completion
- Pursuit Team Participation: Participate in planning storyboarding/content planning and reviews (e.g. Pink and Red) as part of the pursuit team
- Technical Support: Provide technical or logistics support for presentations video conferencing meetings storyboarding sessions key review meetings and final document reviews
- Ensure Compliance: Actively participate in capture and proposal kickoff meetings to understand all relevant RFP requirements and to ensure graphic compliance
- Problem Solving: Resourceful in identifying visuals or graphics that best communicate ideas working effectively with the team to find creative solutions
- Independent and Collaborative: Capable of producing accurate compliant and compelling work both independently and as part of a team
- Communication and Diplomacy: Excellent verbal and written communication skills adept at handling challenging situations diplomatically. Strong customer service positive attitude and flexibility in highpressure environments.
- Quality Assurance: Strong ability to proofread and apply grammatical rules to ensure highquality products
- Accountability: Strong organization and time management skills; aptitude and willingness to take on project ownership; selfstarter
- Training and Mentorship: Lead internal trainings support/mentor designers and model best practices and behaviors
- Networking: Engages in developing a network among peers or partners to enhance role and support career growth
Knowledge Expectations
- Advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop Acrobat Pro) applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel) applications
- Proficiency in collaborative tools (Microsoft Outlook Teams SharePoint)
- Proficiency in graphic design fundamentals including layout typography color theory and visual hierarchy
- Strong understanding of industry graphic design best practices and procedures work processes and tools
- Strong understanding of how to visually convey statements themes and responses to evaluation criteria clearly and effectively in proposals and presentations
- Strong understanding of print design and production
- Strong understanding of presentation design and production
- Strong knowledge of A/E industry and understanding of clients projects people and competitors
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Communications or Fine Arts or equivalent certification from accredited school
- 15 years prior graphic design experience in A/E/C industry
