Job Description
Join our Product Security Team: we are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and maintain software to improve Incident Responses time and quality to enhance Incident Response Analysts productivity and to drive PSIRTs incident reporting abilities to the next level.
Role
- Full Stack developer Django/Nuxt:
- Help analysts by developing dedicated tools to increase the productivity
- Maintain PSIRTs Incident Management System.
- Based on user feedback management decisions and experience implement new features (automation GUI security) in PSIRTs Incident Management System.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Python Web Framework JavaScript SQL Linux development environment versioning tool and Docker required.
- Must be a team player able to understand the requirements of the systems users and to work in an agile and flexible way.
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
The Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Previous experience in Web development with frameworks needed.
- Experience with Django a big plus.
- Experience with VUE (Nuxt) is a big plus
- Experience in security is a plus
Education:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Master Degree in Computer Science preferred.
The US base salary range for this fulltime position is $100000$145000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) 11 paid holidays vacation time and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications experience and geographic location.
