OPEN POSITION:
Family Nurse Practitioner
SCHEDULE:
FullTime
Monday through Friday
8:00am to 5:00pm
No Weekends
No Evenings
No OnCall
COMPENSATION:
$65 to $90 per hour depending on experience and credentials

COMPANY PROFILE:
This community health center (FQHC) opened in 2011 and currently employs 30 providers across a variety of specialties pediatrics ob/gyn infectious disease orthopedics behavioral health podiatry pain management as well as fullscope primary care. They operate 4 clinic locations with a robust support staff of clinical and administrative team members. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new FNP will provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages.
FNPs see between 16 and 24 patients per day with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant.
Specific duties of the role include but are not limited to:
evaluation and treatment of patients
care plan management
assessment of acute needs
chronic condition management
review laboratory and other test results
initiate specialist referrals
participate in interdepartmental case conferences
participate in care team provider and staff meetings
provide health education to patients and families
participate in community outreach events
The practice uses the Epic EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
California NP license
FNP certification
DEA
2 years advanced practice experience
