Are you a skilled Coating Advisor professional with am expertise in airless and plural component application Our Technical Services department helps to build the Hempel brand reputation by inspiring confidence from the end user. As technical services authorities we offer knowledge experience and training to accompany our bestinclass products. We collaborate with our internal colleagues to ensure proper and peak application and performance of Hempel products.
Bring our Hempel products to peak performance. As a Coating Advisor at Hempel youll be on the front lines working alongside applicators distributors contractors engineers and consultants to ensure proper use and application of Hempels products.
Working with our direct customers you will strive to understand their needs their challenges and provide services that can support and strengthen our coating solutions to bring value that can be monetized.
Youll work closely with a team of Hempel colleagues from Sales R&D Customer Care and other internal functions to deliver exceptional service to the end user.
Youll bring our technical documentation Product Data Sheets to life by offering technical advisory support on all aspects of our Hempel products. You will be an ambassador for the brand and product lines by effectively communicating the features and benefits of all our products and systems with an expertise in airless and plural component application.
Work to ensure compliance with most recent Product Data Sheets guide specifications relevant technical and industrial standards working procedures and best painting/application practices.
Accurately collect and record data prepare work progress reports including testing analysis and interpretation of data providing feedback when vital to relevant stakeholders.
Provide onsite training to coatings applicators across major segments and the Hempels Sales teams.
Educate and persuade customers about the performance of our coating solutions and value of Technical Services.
Generates accurate company and customer reports and distributes them in timely manner using corporate reporting tolls to efficiently and proactively communicate issues of importance for the quality/paint consumption/budget/scheduling of the project.
Uses PPE and technical equipment responsibly and ensures equipment is calibrated maintained and in good condition; monitors and leads project paint inventory offering timely updates to Sales front/back office to avoid possible shortages.
Actively participate in internal and external Technical Services strategy activities by conducting surveys troubleshooting issues and finding resolutions.
Ability to travel extensively (domestic and international) with flexible schedules.
High school diploma/bachelors degree.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Constructive Coating Industry.
Extensive knowledge in airless and plural component application is required.
English business proficiency (oral and written).
MS office basic level/ basic computer efficiency.
Spanish an advantage
Experience with Marine Coatings and NACE certification is a plus.
