Meeting Street is currently looking for an Educator (Bilingual) in Early Intervention working 40 hours weekly.


Duties:

  • Partner with Spanishspeaking and Englishspeaking children and families to implement strategies to promote early childhood development parental education and coaching advocacy and support.
  • Assess the functional capabilities of children ages 03 relative to their ageappropriate milestones for potential developmental delays or developmental risk factors.
  • Collaborate with the family to develop goals to address the childs development that fit into their daily routines and play.
  • Deliver services in an approachable and comfortable way as a guest in our clients homes translating your clinical knowledge into everyday language.
  • Provide support to families with daily challenges and connect them with resources within or outside of our program as needed to support their childs development or immediate needs.
  • Consult and partner with a multidisciplinary team of professionals including Nurses Occupational Therapists Physical Therapists Social Workers and Speech Language Pathologists.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution with successful completion of at least 4 approved 3credit courses that focus on infants toddlers and/or families.
  • 300 hours of practicum or work experience with young children (under the age of 5.
  • Fully bilingual (read write speak translate) in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to provide own transportation to appointments.
