Job Description
Position Title: Adjunct (English)
Department: English
Campus Location:Washburn University

Position Summary: Washburn Universitys department of English invites applications for Fall 2025 adjunct faculty.
Each selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to pursuing teaching excellence at Washburn University including a dedication to developing teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds.
Essential Functions:
Teach: EN 101 Introductory College Writing and/or EN 200 Intermediate College Writing and/or EN 103 Academic Reading and Research.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in English or a closelyrelated field with 18 graduate credit hours of coursework in English.
Demonstrated dedication to developing teaching practices that engage students from all backgrounds.
