The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week so operational demands require variations in shift days starting and ending times and hours worked in a week. This position requires a need for availability to work on weekends evenings holidays and mornings as needed due to business demands.
The Restaurant Supervisor is a working supervisor that will be working each shift as either a Barista or Bartender. He or she will be ensuring that all of the hotels food and beverage service standards are upheld to the highest degree. He/She has the passion dedication and vision to inspire our employees in providing emotional service to our guests. The Supervisor is also responsible for the effective and efficient staffing of the Bistro and Lounge during hours of operation.
The Supervisor must have flexible availability as this position will require variances in scheduling week to week due to business levels and demands during AM and PM shifts inclusive of weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate is friendly optimistic detailoriented has an outgoing personality enjoys working with people and working on a team; has a proven passion and ability to anticipate and exceed our guests needs; has knowledge of food and beverage operations; can comprehend and deliver service standards; excels at guest and team member relations and etiquette; and comprehends to importance of complying with applicable federal state and local health and safety regulations. Has at least 1 year experience as a barista server or bartender in an upscale restaurant or fullservice hotel.
The position requires flexibility with hours and shift start times as necessary when business demands and needs of the hotel require it for the successful operation of the hotel and restaurant.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS
Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds without assistance; push/pull cart and other equipment up to 250 pounds; endure various physical movements throughout crowded work and event areas.
Must be able to stand and exert wellpaced mobility for extended periods of time; constantly lifting carrying pushing pulling or otherwise move objects; extended periods of standing reaching above head to move items walking stooping and lifting. Requires close vision with or without corrective lenses. Work is normally performed in an interior hotel environment.
