We are looking for you if you have:
- handson Experience with Ansible and bash
- handson Experience with CI/CD platforms like azure devops
- handson Experience with containerization and Container orchestration with Kubernetes/OpenShift either on premise or on public cloud
- experience with Application servers like tomcat
- experience with webservers like Nginx/Apache
- experience with Linux administration
- experience with ELK stack Prometheus and Grafana.
Youll get extra points for:
- experience with Pega
- experience with Azure Cloud and terraform
- experience with Oracle and Postgres Databases.
Your responsibilities:
- design develop and implement technical solutions together with a team of DevOps engineers helping wider team grow and excel in their technical and operational responsibilities
- introduce continuous improvement processes for platform team services through automation using Ansible Azure devops
- identify repetitive manual tasks and patterns automating these processes to enhance operational efficiency
- promote and introduce selfservice capabilities for internal platform users enabling teams to leverage infrastructure services seamlessly through APIs and web portals
- build and deliver CI/CD pipelines automation and tooling to ensure smooth and rapid deployment of features and services
- drive selfhealing selfoptimizing solutions to improve platform resilience and scalability
- manage and optimize a VMbased environment driving future container and cloud solutions
- champion you build it you run it you fix it culture owning the endtoend lifecycle of the services you develop.
Information about the squad:
Are you a DevOps Engineer ready to take on a significant challenge Our tech stack is based on components such as RHEL Oracle DBaaS Tomcat and delivers PEGA application as a service with supporting sidecar Java applications. As the technical lead in this team you will have the unique opportunity to design shape and build this cloudlike infrastructure while driving automation and selfservice capabilities for our internal platform users.
This role offers unique challenge of building scalable automation by looking for manual patterns read for optimization and promoting selfservice for users across our platform. You will part of cross functional DevOps squad responsible for introducing innovations like selfhealing systems exposing internal services via APIs and delivering these solutions via internal web portals. Were looking for someone who embraces the DevOps mindset you build it you run it and you fix it.
This isnt just another DevOps role. Youll be directly building a central platform inside one of INGs core teams providing critical infrastructure and selfservice capabilities for our internal and external applications across the organization. Youll have the chance to lead and shape this platform influencing not just technology but the engineering culture around automation selfservice and cloud solutions.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be Engineer IV.
