Job Description
The OT/IT Integration Engineer with experience in the configuration of Kepware EX as Gateway for integration of different make PLCs on vendor proprietary protocols OR OPC. Integration with Beckhoff Twin CAT PLCs B & R IPC and OPC Euromap 77 will be advantageous.
- Data Integration from Kepware Edge to Ignition Edge / Gateway with MQTT following defined UNS standard
- Structuring the data in an intuitive namespace and making data available to historians or upstream layers on MQTT
- Knowledgeable of best practices for performance and optimization of Kepware and MQTT
- Configuration and Programming in Beckhoff TwincCAT3 and B& R Automation Studio for the development of functions and data integration
- Experience in Ignition Edge / Gateway configuration for data integration on the MQTT
- Experience in Canary Historian and Seeq will be added advantage
- Validation and Qualification of automation system for the dataflow. Documentation and protocol for pharmaceutical industries
- Documentation of best practices internal Knowledge Articles and other communications.
- Understand and support all GMPs safety and environmental regulations.
- Evaluate automated and information technology systems and develop strategies to optimize and ensure the quality and stability of automation systems through future expansion replacement or upgrade.
- Use their technical knowledge to ensure the robust and efficient operation of a variety of automated processing and information technology systems.
- Experience with automation system architecture design startup and/or qualification.
- Experienced problem solver/troubleshooter skilled in root cause analysis
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills to multitask.
- Candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
- Strong analytical thinking and technical writing skills
- Proficient in MS Office Platform and document storage systems
- A prominent level of innovation creativity and selfinitiative
