Job Description

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Greenville SC

Duration: 12 Months (options for 13 weeks contract)

Start Date: July 2025

Shift Schedule: Mon Fri 7.00 am 3.30 pm

Qualifications:

Experience: at least 2 years of Phlebotomy experience.

Certifications: Phlebotomist certification

Provide 3 Reference letters from lab supervisors clinical teachers or physicians.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture finger sticks and special testrelated phlebotomy procedures while ensuring proper patient identification and specimen labeling.
Review paperwork provide guidance and assist patients before specimen collection.
Adhere to Joint Commission and VA policies infection control procedures and laboratory safety protocols.
Collect process and deliver blood and urine samples to appropriate departments while following proper storage and transportation guidelines.
Accession specimens document collections manage lab records and maintain cleanliness in the phlebotomy area.
Conduct inventory checks restock supplies and report low stock levels to clinic management.
Use lab software for order entry specimen tracking and test processing as required by the facility.
