Job Description
You will be part of a collaborative team developing nextgeneration highperformance power converters. Our client is a US semiconductor company that is entrepreneurial yet offers the stability and growth one might expect for a longterm career. Lots of technically challenging opportunities to sharpen your skills.
You will: Design advanced power conversion solutions Transistor level implementation Modeling using Matlab Simulink and Spectre AMS Designer Lead layout implementation Postlayout simulations and optimization Support postsilicon activities.
Title: Engineer (senior lead & principal levels)
Location: Phoenix Arizona. Hybrid onsite 23 days weekly. Full relocation offered.
Compensation: Depending on experience we see a base salary to $210000. Client offers a stellar benefits package. A solid bonus upside along with RSUs.
These skills and experience will get our attention:
Deep understanding of the analog design flow steps including architecture design and design integration
Expertise in power conversion architectures transistorlevel design and simulation
Handson scopes logic analyzers and other lab equipment
Highlevel modeling tools such as Matlab Simulink or similar
Device physics and basic ESD and Latchup concepts
Control theory for power conversion solutions
Inductive and/or capacitive power converters
Mentoring less experienced designers
