You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN is seeking a fulltime obstetrician to join our dynamic and collaborative team in a hospitalist role at the renowned Family Birth Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a teambased environment alongside Certified Nurse Midwives Advanced Practice Providers MaternalFetal Medicine specialists residents students and Family Medicine physicians. Our busy tertiary care center delivers approximately 2400 babies annually and serves as the primary referral hub for highrisk pregnancies within the Mayo Clinic Health System network which encompasses over 6000 deliveries each year. With a focus on national and international referrals as well as specialized services like fetal surgery our practice provides a diverse and intellectually stimulating patient population. This role is primarily hospitalbased with the majority of responsibilities focused on labor and delivery. While there may be occasional clinic duties the core of this position will be centered around patient care in the labor and delivery unit.
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is composed of over 40 boardcertified physicians who provide comprehensive care to a diverse and complex patient population including regional national and international patients. Our department encompasses all OB/Gyn subspecialties supports 20 residents and 16 fellows and offers six ACGMEaccredited fellowship programs including an OB hospitalist fellowship.
