Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) is seeking parttime adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes for the Interactive Media and Game Development (IMGD) program. Parttime faculty positions are created to provide an available applicant pool for the program. Positions will be filled on an as needed basis. Start dates will vary by course and semester.JOB DESCRIPTION
There is a potential need for both undergraduate and graduate courses. The goal is to integrate a successful applicant into related activities atWPIwith teaching assignments matched with the background and availability of the applicant.
Applicants should either hold an advanced degree in a related discipline to IMGD (such as media arts computational media computer science writing or design) or have significant practical experience in the relevant area or both. The ideal applicant will have successful undergraduate or graduate teaching experience.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and/or commitment to do so as an employee at WPI.
