You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs an Environmental Science Specialist (Delegations Agreement Coordinator) perform periodic evaluations of delegated licensed authorities to ensure conformance with implementation of the program in the Groundwater Section. Liaison between the Department and the delegated licensed authorities on issues related to implementation of the program. Foster lines of open communication between the Department delegated authorities and other stakeholders. This position is responsible for administration of several ADEQ delegated programs throughout the state of Arizona. The individual in this position will primarily ensure ADEQ and delegated authorities adhere to the terms as set forth in delegation agreements through project management of performance evaluations. The candidate will perform primarily inperson performance evaluations to ensure compliance with delegated scope. The position will require instate travel up to 50 to conduct appropriate evaluations in specific counties or cities throughout the state of Arizona. Using knowledge of various scientific disciplines may collect synthesize study report and recommend action based on data derived from measurement or observations of air soil water and other sources.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
