We are recruiting for a Senior Electronic Engineer for a successful British manufacturer of USB Chargers DCDC voltage converters and power supplies serving the communications rail automotive and marine markets.
The company design and manufacture all its own products supplying to markets across the world.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop switchedmode power supply products from the initial conception through to production.
- Lead and collaborate with a small crossfunctional team of engineers
- Generate product specifications designs and test methods
- Troubleshooting faults in prototype and production units
- Design of production test systems for new products
- Estimate and deliver technical development to tight timescales
- Provide expertise during product roadmap development
- Mentor developing engineers
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree qualified in an Electronics Engineering field
- 5 years experience of electronic circuit design preferably analogue or power electronics in a relevant industry
- Schematic design experience and some experience of PCB layout
- Experience of testing and debugging prototype electronic designs
- Experience of design for manufacturing techniques
- Experience of regulatory standards and approval process EMC LVD etc.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as a technical lead
- Excellent problemsolving and analytic skills
- Excellent communication skills
