Job Description

Helper Fabrication Department
EntryLevel Position
Job Responsibilities:
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to learn basic knowledge of operations of Fabrication Shop
  • Clean up Fabrication Shop
  • Operate power equipment
  • Operate forklift
  • Operate overhead crane
  • Ability to work from a ladder
Requirements:
  • Selfstarter highly motivated good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment.
  • Work well with others.
  • Works with minimum supervision.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position the employee will for prolong periods of time stand bend and lift on concrete shop floor. The employee is required to walk stand use hands and fingers reach with hands and arms; balance stoop kneel crouch talk and hear. Must be able to withstand hot/cold temperatures when performing many of the job duties as they are outside of a heated/airconditioned environment. Sitting 5 walking/standing 95. Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
