About the Music Teacher Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join our highperforming Music department. The successful candidate will teach Music at Key Stage 3 and 4 providing students with opportunities to develop their musical abilities and creativity.
Responsibilities of the Music Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons that inspire and motivate students.
- Assess student progress providing detailed feedback to support their development.
- Contribute to the growth of the Music curriculum and extracurricular music activities.
- Create a positive inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation in school concerts musical productions and competitions.
Music TeacherQualifications and Experience:
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Music or a related field.
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level with a passion for both practical and theoretical music education.
- A solid understanding of the UK curriculum and exam specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
