About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 35 following exam specifications and incorporating diverse artistic practices and styles.
- Plan and deliver lessons that foster creativity artistic skills and critical thinking utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources including drawing painting sculpture and digital art.
- Assess student progress through artwork presentations and written assessments providing detailed feedback to support their development and ensure smooth transition midyear.
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum integrating current artistic trends and diverse artistic practices and participate in departmental planning.
- Organize and lead art exhibitions workshops and gallery visits promoting artistic engagement and expression adapting to midyear integration.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Art and Design subject knowledge including various artistic mediums and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Art across Key Stages 35 with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and artistic skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students including those joining midyear.
- Commitment to fostering creativity and artistic expression within a valuesdriven environment.
