To accelerate towards our goal of becoming the pioneering force powering the energy system of tomorrow we are now looking for a passionate and skilled data science summer intern to join our Trading team over the summer.

About The Role:

As a Data Science Intern within the Trading team youll be responsible for analyzing exploring and generating insights from the data that powers our trading models. You will be working closely with Data Scientists from our team and also work with Data Engineers from the Implementation and Operations team. Your work will contribute to the development of brand new trading strategies and models by helping us explore raw data in its earliest stage.

We expect you to be available to work for approximately two months.

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis of new data sources.
  • Research new ML models for the purposes of electricity trading.
  • Optimize our current trading models in production.
  • Utilize best practices to solve complex problems not possible with traditional algorithms.

Who You Are:

  • Fluent in English.
  • A Masters student in Engineering Computer Science ML/AI or Mathematics in year 4 or 5.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following:
    Programming in Python and SQL.
    Data analysis and data visualization.
    Machine learning or related AI techniques.
    Databases and SQL.
    Foundations in statistics and probability.
    An interest in renewable energy and/or algorithmic trading.
  • A team player with excellent organizational skills.

Location

Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Sdermalm just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage inoffice collaboration but support a hybrid work model.
