About the Role:
The Sacramento office of our client is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Associate with 26 years of experience in employment litigation. This role involves handling a diverse range of employment litigation matters with a particular focus on California wagehour class action claims and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and litigate employmentrelated claims including wagehour class actions and PAGA cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery initial pleadings and other caserelated documentation.
- Prepare and argue motions in state and federal courts.
- Take and defend depositions with confidence and professionalism.
- Work collaboratively with the legal team and independently to develop and implement effective case strategies.
- Maintain a high level of client service while managing multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar (required).
- 26 years of experience in employment litigation with a strong emphasis on California wagehour class actions and PAGA cases.
- Excellent academic credentials and a proven track record of success in litigation.
- Strong legal research writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
- Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
