Job Description

Job Title:COTE Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Carshalton Surrey
Working Hours: 37.5 per week
Rate: Competitive to be discussed upon application

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for our fantastic NHS client based in London Carshalton Surrey. The role is available for a successful Occupational Therapist to start immediately offering fulltime hours per week for a short term contract.

What will your responsibilities be

You will be working in a team of acute Ots to support assessment intervention and planning for maximum independence for the patient and maximum flow for this site. The appointed Occupational Therapist will be responsible for carrying a clinical caseload and will need to be an excellent communicator in order to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Previous experience with complex MH prescriptions
  • Previous discharge planning
  • Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
