We are looking for a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our clients inpatient team in Somerset. This role offers an immediate start for a shortterm contract. If you are passionate about providing exceptional psychiatric care and are available to start right away we would love to hear from you.
What will your responsibilities be
You will assess diagnose and treat adult patients with various mental health disorders. Leading a multidisciplinary team (MDT) you will develop individualised evidencebased care plans in line with NICE guidelines. Collaborating with healthcare professionals you will facilitate early transfer and discharge planning to optimise patient outcomes. You will maintain high clinical governance standards participate in quality improvement and service development and engage in MDT meetings case discussions and clinical audits. Additionally you will supervise and train junior medical staff ensuring continuous professional development and adherence to mental health legislation.
