Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a multispecialty practice located in Bronx New York.
Responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner:
- Diagnose and treat common acute psychiatric problems illnesses and crises
- Psychopharmacologic management in collaboration with a psychiatrist
- Provide individual group and family psychotherapy
- Care for and counsel clients with commonly identified chronic psychiatric conditions
- Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary services for clients with complex psychiatric problems
- Monitor common health care problems and refer for specialized medical treatment as needed
- Provide comprehensive family psychiatricmental health education
- Work with clients and their families in anticipation of developmental milestones life cycle events
- Perform or recommend ageappropriate screening procedures
- Promote wellnessoriented selfcare
- Advocate for family psychiatricmental health clients and their families
Requirements
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Must be Bilingual in Spanish
