Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for maintaining repairing and overhauling large machinery and equipment. This includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues replacing or repairing damaged components and performing routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in diesel mechanics heavy equipment repair or a related field is often preferred.
- Previous experience (typically 35 years) working with heavy machinery is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read blueprints technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
