Job Description

Job Title: SpeechLanguage Pathologist
Facility: Alameda Hospital
Address: 2070 Clinton Ave Alameda CA 94501 United States
Contract: 6 months (possible extension)
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $62/hr(W2
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Role Overview:

The SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) will assess diagnose and treat speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP will work with individuals of all ages to develop personalized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients using standardized assessments and clinical observations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide therapy for speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercises.
  • Collaborate with physicians occupational therapists physical therapists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Adhere to hospital policies procedures and ethical guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology.
  • California SLP License.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience.
