Job Title: Occupational Therapist Care of the Elderly
Band: 6
Location:Salisbury Wiltshire
Working Hours:37.5 hours
Rate:Competitive to be discussed upon application
We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist for Care of the Elderly to join our NHS clients team in Salisbury Wiltshire. This locum position offers an immediate start for a shortterm contract providing a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional to bring their expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment.
What will your responsibilities be
As the successful candidate your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments for older adults. You will evaluate patients to understand their physical and mental health challenges considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments you will formulate individualised care plans tailored to each persons needs and goals. You will be responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting care plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.
You will maintain and coordinate timely and appropriate interventions through holistic assessment for a caseload of older adults living in the community in line with the care pathway as outlined within the operational procedure.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- You must have a full HCPC registration
- Proven experience in the relevant field
