Job Description

Industrial Painter & Blaster Local Workshop Role

  • Workshop Paint & Blaster
  • Location: Henderson
  • Pay Rate: $45ph
  • Positions Available: 2 x Positions

We are seeking an experienced and reliablePaint & Blasterto join our clients workshop team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products are prepared painted and finished to the highest standards. As a Paint & Blaster you will be responsible for prepping surfaces applying coatings and blasting materials as part of the production process. The ideal candidate will have experience in abrasive blasting and spray painting with a keen eye for detail and a focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning sanding and removing debris or contaminants before painting or blasting.
  • Use abrasive blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces including metal and industrial components.
  • Mix and apply paint primers and coatings to a variety of materials ensuring even coverage and highquality finish.
  • Maintain and operate spray painting and blasting equipment.
  • Inspect completed work for defects ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist in inventory management of paint and blasting materials.
  • Perform general workshop duties as required including equipment maintenance and cleaning.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Paint & Blaster Spray Painter or Surface Preparation).
  • Strong knowledge of various painting techniques and blasting equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fastpaced workshop environment.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Good communication skills.
