Role Outline
Our key requirement is a Javascript developer who wants to be the complete frontend engineer in a Vuebased environment. We are also looking for someone who is interested in UX and interface design.
More specifically this is an opportunity to develop performant and scalable SPAs for our many brokerage platforms. You will collaborate closely with other engineers product managers and our design team to deliver brokerage web app applications to our diverse client base of over 2 million users.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work on brokerage projects as an Engineer at interactiveadvisors (Central London UK).
- Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs Vuex Pinia Vite Cypress webpack)
- owning and building hightraffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ideate plan and organize largescale projects.
- Contribute to our companywide Vue UI Component Library.
- Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies.
- Work with a team of intelligent intense and fastmoving coworkers.
Experience:
- 3 years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on singlepage web app development
- Handson experience with at least one JavaScript framework React.js/Vue.js/Angular.js (we use Vue.js and Angular.js)
- HTML CSS (including CSS preprocessors) JavaScript and Typescript
- Experience integrating APIs
- Web testing and troubleshooting skills you know the web developer tools.
- Evidence of unconventional thinking that shows you have worked smarter not just harder.
- Excellent organizational communication and soft skills.
- A strong academic record a graduate in a science or technology subject postgraduate is a plus.
