Job Title: Project Engineer Substation Projects
Location: Adelanto CA (Onsite)
Employment Type: Fulltime/Direct Hire
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Scheme Engineer to oversee the technical aspects of substation construction projects. This role will act as the main onsite expert ensuring construction activities meet design specifications and industry standards. Youll collaborate closely with the construction team and serve as a direct link to the engineering team for resolving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to construction crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications industry standards and regulations.
- Address construction issues and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve them.
- Manage project documentation including submittals RFIs and field markups.
- Monitor risks and implement preventive measures to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Report progress and open issues to the Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in highvoltage substation construction.
- Strong expertise in electrical systems substation design and grounding.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Compensation:
- Salary: $120k140k
