**Join Our Team as a Food Technology Teacher:
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our goodrated secondary school in Derby for a Food Technology Teacher. Starting in April 2025 you will teach students practical cooking and food science skills across KS3 and KS4. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can inspire students in a subject that promotes healthy lifestyles.
What the Food Technology Teacher Will Be Doing:
- As a Food Technology Teacher you will design and deliver exciting lessons in food science nutrition and cooking.
- Provide students with the practical skills they need to thrive in food technology.
- Work collaboratively with other Food Technology Teachers to enhance the curriculum and encourage student development.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing feedback that helps them achieve their goals.
What Were Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Degree in Food Technology Hospitality or related field.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
