Job Description
Security Officer Upper Chesapeake Health Aberdeen Full time Day Shift
73:30 Every Other Weekend
JOB SUMMARY: Interacts with Behavioral Patients to decrease the emotional physical and mental stress levels of a situation using verbal and nonverbal deescalation techniques and if necessary utilizing Crisis Prevention Institute physical techniques to bring the aggressive Patient under control for further therapeutic clinical intervention.
Qualifications :
Work Orientation & Experience: One 1 year of related experience (Law Enforcement Correctional Officer or Milieu experience) is required.
Skills & Abilities: Ability to read write analyze and interpret security reports. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in a variety of situations. Must be able to interpret a range of instructions furnished in written oral or schedule form. Must be able to work well under pressure during emergency situations. Must possess outstanding service excellence and behavioral deescalation skills. Must be able to intervene with physically aggressive individuals.
Additional Information :
Pay Range: Flat Rate: $18.12$23.89
