The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machinery assembling products monitoring production processes and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety regulations and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Machinery & Equipment:
- Set up operate and maintain production equipment according to safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of machines.
- Production & Assembly:
- Follow work instructions blueprints and production schedules.
- Assemble package or inspect products to ensure they meet company specifications.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor product quality throughout production.
- Report defects or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Accurately record production data downtime and material usage.
- Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to the team.
Qualifications :
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing production or machine operation preferred.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to insert weight e.g. 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Additional Information :
- Comfortable working in a cold/wet environment.
- Ability to stand bend and move for extended periods.
