About the opportunity
The IaaS Product team (Infrastructure as a Service) delivers secure highly available Linux infrastructure alongside teams providing Windows VMware Cloud IaaS and PaaS Server and Storage.
- Solve problems and learn something every day with a collaborative team that support each other.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work within a team of 6 engineers.
- Opportunity of partaking in training courses to uplift your technical skills.
About you
You will be an experienced versatile motivated IT professional with relevant qualifications and a strong background in Linux server management and automation.
Demonstrated technical leadership a desire to learn and explore analytical and problemsolving skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients in written and oral form. You will enjoy working and leading in a teamoriented environment actively leading and engaging in sharing ideas solutions and expertise.

- Appreciate flexible workfromhome options with a 60 onsite / 40 remote work split.
Qualifications
- Redhat Enterprise Linux and associated support tools and technologies or similar.
- Orchestration of deployment and configuration by code (e.g. Ansible DevOps Terraform or similar)
- Programming and development skills in Python. Golang also highly valued.
- Programming and scripting skills applied to automation and solution development
- Experience in design and administration of Kubernetes solutions
- Experience delivering in cloud
- Proficient at architecting and communicating solutions to a team of technical staff.
- Experience working in an agile methodology and culture

This is a continuing opportunity based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multisite University you may be required to work across other locations.
HEW 8 Salary Base range $113713.03 $127923.91 17 super. Full package range $133044.24 $149670.97.
