Legal Counsel

OurLegaldepartment is growing and we are looking fora Legal Counsel to join us on our journey!

Your daily tasks will be

• Drafting reviewing and negotiating high quality commercial agreements (e.g. software license distribution agreements and game supplier agreements) and other type of agreements including but not limited to intracompany agreements service agreements and outsourcing agreements; and any other legal documentation related to business operations.
  
• Amendments and/or renegotiations of existing agreements and management of contract renewals.
  
• Liaising with senior management internal stakeholders internal departments and existing and potential clients during contractual negotiations.
  
• Research and remain abreast of developments in gambling regimes and ensuring mitigation of potential risk and / or compliance with local laws and regulations.
  
• Advising on the various legal matters as necessary topical issues and handling legal aspects of multiple projects undertaken by the business.
  
• Identify and consult on legal risks in connection with the development of new products.
  
• Onboarding and working together with external service providers and law firms in relation to jurisdictionspecific legal matters and/or litigation.
  
• Assisting with changes to the corporate structure and other corporate matters and affairs.
  
• Remaining up to date with the relevant laws and regulations and practices impacting the work and the company business.
  
• Contributing to the ongoing development of the practice and procedures of the legal team.
  
• Driving continuous improvement within your own areas of responsibility;
  
• Any adhoc duties that may arise during the course of employment.
  

What we expect from you

• Excellent written and spoken levels of English (other language(s) considered as an asset).
  
• Experience in working within a legal role for at least 3 years.
  
• Experience in a gaming industry or any other highly regulated industries.
  
• Being passionate about the customer experience and cultivating the same mindset within the team.
  
• Being selfmotivated and being able to take ownership in a dynamic environment with a positive cando mindset and ability to multitask.
  
• Ability to work selfsufficiency and take ownership; also to cooperate with different teams.
  
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the businessoriented solutions within legal negotiations and/or day to day operations.
  
• Excellent planning organisational and time management skills to be able to sense urgencies and prioritise under pressure.
  
• Being approachable and effective communicator who can engage with all levels of the business influence key stakeholders and provide expert advice to support the strategic agenda.
  
• A degree in Law from a reputable university.
  
• Ability to prioritise matters while working in a fastpaced industry.
