The opportunity:
We are seeking additional Entomology technicians for our Pest Laboratory for a 3 month fixed term starting at the end of March 2025 based in our Blockhouse Bay Laboratory.
This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday and some rostered Saturdays. However candidates who have part time availability will also be considered.
The role will primarily involve slide mounting and identification of scale insects on kiwifruit working at fast pace and dealing with high volumes. Other export and import border diagnostics may also be engaged.
About You:
An eye for detail excellent manipulation skills and neat handwriting will be essential. You are able to learn new systems promptly and efficiently manage your time and prioritise work effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills will be important in this role along with a passion for quality delivering outstanding customer service in a commercial environment whilst being a team player.
