Skills: Revit MEP Navisworks AutoCAD Fabrication in Revit and/or AutoCAD
We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler (MEP) to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in Revit MEP modelling and coordination. You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed BIM models for Electrical Plumbing Fire Protection and Mechanical (HVAC) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify BIM models as per project requirements.
- Ensure model accuracy quality and compliance with client standards.
- Coordinate with other disciplines including Architecture Structure and MEP services.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks.
- Prepare BOQs for electrical plumbing fire protection and mechanical elements.
- Maintain proper workset and view management for different service types.
Electrical Modeling:
- Create Revit models for cable trays conduits busbars and cable trunking.
- Develop electrical room layouts lighting and power system models.
- Prepare panel schedules circuiting and wiring diagrams.
- Model external electrical components including street lighting and underground manholes.
- Work on ELV systems such as CCTV fire alarms security and telecom networks.
Plumbing & Fire Protection Modeling:
- Model drainage stormwater domestic water and fire protection piping.
- Prepare detailed layouts for plumbing fixtures and sprinkler systems.
- Perform underground utility coordination with structural elements.
- Model mechanical rooms including water pump and fire protection systems.
Mechanical (HVAC) Modeling:
- Create Revit models for ducting piping fittings and HVAC equipment.
- Develop supply return and exhaust air duct layouts.
- Ensure coordination with other trades for ceiling and mechanical room layouts.
- Work on diffuser placement duct sizing and equipment schedules.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of LOD 100 to LOD 500 modeling.
- Familiarity with COBie asset management plugins and family creation.
- Experience in clash coordination for MEP elements.
- Knowledge of drawing stages including TD DD CD and AsBuilt documentation.
- Understanding of material selection and installation methods for MEP systems.
