Job Description

Our client an outstanding independent school in Wolverhampton is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their team for a temporary role starting in April. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science to KS3 and KS5 students in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Information:

  • Position: Computer Science Teacher
  • Teaching: Computer Science to KS3 and KS5
  • Contract Type: Temporary Fulltime
  • Start Date: April 2025
  • Location: Wolverhampton
  • Salary: Competitive based on experience

Role Responsibilities

  • Teach Computer Science to KS3 and KS5 students preparing them for their GCSE and ALevel exams.
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire students to excel in the subject.
  • Support students in developing practical skills and theoretical understanding.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives and activities working alongside other members of the team to continuously improve student outcomes.
  • Provide feedback and track student progress to ensure the highest academic standards are maintained.

Essential Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science to KS3 and KS5 students.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
  • Ability to inspire students and create a positive inclusive classroom environment.
