Job Description

Are you a passionate and motivated Psychology Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding School We are seeking an enthusiastic Psychology Teacher to join a dynamic department in Wolverhampton starting in April. You will have the opportunity to teach Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students preparing them for GCSE and ALevel exams in a supportive and thriving school environment.

  • Contract: Fulltime Temporary
  • Salary: Competitive based on experience (MPS/UPS)

Role Responsibilities

  • Teach Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students delivering highquality lessons that challenge and engage students.
  • Create and implement a dynamic curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners and supports their academic success.
  • Provide tailored feedback and assessment to ensure students reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the department to ensure cohesive teaching practices.
  • Contribute to the development of the department and school as a whole supporting the success of both students and colleagues.
  • Foster a love of psychology in students helping them to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of the subject.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5 level (including GCSE and ALevel).
  • Strong knowledge of the Psychology curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Salary
