We are seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to lead logistics projects from initiation to delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics project management and leadership. The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for managing logistics projects including freight management warehousing and transportation to ensure timely costeffective and highquality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan organize and manage logistics projects including freight management warehousing and transportation.
Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation.
Manage project including coordinating with logistics providers monitoring progress and addressing issues.
Track project performance identify and mitigate risks and take corrective action as needed.
Ensure project deliverables are met and document lessons learned.
Communicate project status risks and issues to stakeholders including logistics providers customers and internal teams.
Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals providing guidance coaching and development opportunities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics project management with a focus on freight management warehousing and transportation.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
