FAILURE ANALYSIS TECHNICIAN

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct root cause analysis on product failures
- Evaluate products according to technical drawings schematics and documentation
- Identify product flaws and recommend improvements
- Execute testing protocols and gather relevant data
- Verify and validate corrective action effectiveness
- Document and communicate detailed root cause analysis findings
- Design and implement experiments with audio equipment
- Operate calibrate and maintain audio testing equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues in analog and digital circuits
- Provide technical support to electrical engineering and new product development teams
- Conduct basic mechanical evaluations
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- AA degree or equivalent in a related field plus minimum 3 years of experience in root cause analysis
- Advanced electronics failure analysis experience
- Proficiency with test equipment including oscilloscopes 12volt power supplies and digital multimeters
- Skilled in both throughhole and SMT soldering techniques
- Ability to interpret schematics mechanical drawings and circuit board layouts
- Knowledge of car audio system integration including source units equalizers speakers subwoofers signal processors and amplifiers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating system
- Solid electronics background
- Mobile audio experience considered a plus
