As a member of the Business Operations branch of Corporate IT the IT Asset Management Associate is part of the team responsible for the lifecycle of user assets needed by our 22000 global end users. In addition this person is in position to execute effective and efficient procurement and asset services ensuing values and competencies in maintaining transparency integrity and compliance. The Asset Management Associate derives meaningful operational metrics which align to OLA/SLAs across the function and manages continuous improvements with regards to accurate and appropriate inventory across the enterprise.
Reporting to Visas Director of IT Hardware Asset Management this roles primary focus is with inventory data maintenance. As a business office function this role has significant impact on the daytoday success of the overall transformational journey of Corporate IT. The Asset Management Associate works with internal customers and peers to ensure data accuracy and lifecycle management of assets. As needed they support the delivery of financial and logistical acquisition of End User assets. She/He works with peers to derive total cost of ownership (TCO) improvements through operational efficiencies as well as vendor management activities.
Areas of experience include data analysis around asset lifecycle inventory management and reporting process development/optimization and global logistics and ontime delivery of services/assets.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of work experience or a Bachelors Degree
Basic knowledge of IT asset management
Average knowledge and experience using excel spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications
5 or more years of work experience at a tech company
Experience with inventory management systems.
Above average experience with using Excel formulas
Ability to execute at the detail level while maintaining a strategic alignment
with the practice
Identifying and solving process gaps
Ability to speak up when something does not make sense and creating a plan
to fix streamline and automate
Knowledge of PC MAC and peripherals
Strong analytical skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
schedules
Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive constructive attitude
Builds strong relationships with team members and stakeholders
Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities
