Tasks
As a Senior Backend Engineer youll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining APIs for web and mobile applications. Youll focus on writing robust scalable and maintainable code while working in a collaborative environment with designers frontend engineers and trading specialists.
Requirements
- Design develop test and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure highquality standards.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Work closely with external partners and vendors to integrate thirdparty solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
The backend is primarily built in Python and runs on AWS incorporating technologies such as:
- Flask Pytest Mypy Docker PostgreSQL SQS S3 and Terraform
- Continuous integration and daily deployments
